WE LOVE BEER! And we know you do too, or else you wouldn't be on this website reading this. You may not know that the builders of Egypt’s pyramids received 5 liters of beer per day. You probably do know that Boulder is one of the best places in the world to enjoy the greatest of human liquid creations. Without having to move huge blocks of stone to do so.

Our primary mission is to provide a resource for beer lovers to learn about local breweries and how best to experience them. We offer overviews of regional breweries and tap houses, their standard brews, maps, directions, and other useful information all in one convenient place. We also include a selection of local restaurants that feature excellent beer selections. If you are visiting or are new to Boulder, think of us as your concierge of finely fermented beverages. If you are a seasoned local resident looking for new ways to entertain friends, neighbors, and guests (or your own palate), we offer a carefully curated compendium of local breweries and their wares. Our self-guided tour maps are developed to suggest a broad range of interests and outlooks: standard, seasonal, thematic, and special interests. Each map is crafted to impart ideas and insight from local experts. Trust us; we’ve walked the routes, tasted the brews and food, and enjoyed the journey all the way. We’d like to share the joy.

Boulder has matured in so many ways the last couple of decades — economically, socially and culturally. The emergence of a vibrant beer culture has given this city and this region a new vitality, yielding positive effects by building community; fostering economic growth via jobs, beer exports, tax revenue and tourism; and (of course!) enriching our lives with fun and entertainment. A brief stop at a local brewery on a sunny afternoon to taste one of the latest seasonal small-batch brews and catch a few numbers from local musicians can do wonders for the soul.

We hope you find this site useful and that you have a great time experiencing some of Boulder' finest local attractions. As responsible citizens and community members, we ask only that you please drink responsibly and make use of alternate transportation options if needed.

Cheers!
